Drawing in the Sand, for You, Indigo Child
No veil can blind you, old soul in young disguise,
Your eyes, wide open, like stars in distant skies,
So fragile, yet strong, the treasure of my gaze,
The wheel keeps turning, though it feels like endless haze.
I beg you, indigo child, rise above division,
The pain of injustice sharpens your precision,
Soft is the bark, but stay far from the mold,
The moment has come for a new age to unfold,
A flame ignites, in answer to the call,
For centuries we've struggled, the waves hit with might,
But now the poles shift, as new roles take flight,
Provoked, Palestine reclaimed its worth,
First to break free from invaders' curse,
Brothers and sisters, in adversity, kept prayers alive,
Lighting the way for those trapped in the darkened sky
You, indigo child, have a path to explore,
To wipe away fear and open hearts' doors,
Nature reminds us of her unbroken ties,
Angels from Gaza, now dwell in the skies,
They soared to Eden, wings cut but not erased,
They rose to the heights, while the guilty decreased,
Roots cut from the earth, still they tried to ascend,
Yet trapped in the system, they could not comprehend.
Lost in the Machine, blind to what's real,
But the ether connects what they try to conceal,
At the risk of discord, I walk away from the fight,
No debate with deniers or colonizers in sight.
A free Palestine, where new life begins,
Not an ending, but where true hope wins.
Though hunger and thirst still linger at dawn,
We emerge from the shadows, breathe deeply, move on,
No masks, no illusions, all is exposed,
Vices once hidden now out in the cold,
Your guts fought to eat away, forgetting that like steel,
Your core is stone, with unbreakable zeal,
In tune with the elements-water, earth, wind, and fire,
Look at your sisters, your brothers, guide with all you inspire.
Don't shrink from the light, you are a beacon so bright,
Your eyes pierce the dark, ancient as night.
The path, once scattered, now begins to form,
Clearing the dust, guiding through the storm.
The turtle prevails, while the hare runs blind,
Endured the torture, no fever in mind.
No time to wait, I ascend to the stars,
Gone with the cosmos, I'm leaving the scars.
The rhythm breaks, as life rolls the dice,
Since water's been traded, the cost is the price...
