I wish I could just take it all back
We've grown older and can't change our past
So we'll just keep on singing this song
Never realizing it all went wrong
We used to drive all around
Radio up and the windows rolled down
We would dream that we'd someday be stars
As we screamed at the moving cars
That'd just pass us by
Drifting out of sight
I still think back to that night in July when we first met
And I scream at the top of my lungs
How can I regret what we did
When did this all stop being fun
Gone full circle our course has been run
Now we're both just counting the days
'til we can go our separate ways
And just let this pass
Always looking back
I wish I could go back to an easier time and bask in the pain
I'm wasting my life on you I just can't seem to be by myself
There's one thing that I never could say
