We have no excuse all have stood condemned
Loving not our God, loving only sin
Claiming to be wise, living lives as fools
Believing Satan's lies, forsaking righteous rules

But God being rich in love, God being full of grace
God made his mercy known and punished Jesus in our place
We who were not His people, now have been welcomed in
Sons & daughters at His table free to love and worship Him

You have surely said, they'd know us by our love
But who they often see is a people out for blood
Help us hate our sin more than we hate theirs
And may our humbled hearts make us evermore aware that
