I pound a couple more
As I sit and watch the parade on TV
That brings me up to seven
Seven drinks too much
The parade's been going on for hours
And it's starting to drag on
I begin to get a little dizzy
And I black out a little bit
As the parade rolls on
I wake up several hours later
To find myself on a street corner
In nothing but a pair of briefs
Socks undershirt sweater jeans
Ball cap and shoes
What just happened I ask myself
As I walk by an appliance store
With a TV on in the window
And the parade is airing
I catch up with my buddies
And they're all stuffed in a trash can
They get out and begin to crack up
Because of the awkwardness
They don't know what happened either
But John thought it was part of the parade
Which was still going on
How could we be this drunk
And how could a parade last this long
I felt like passing wind
But couldn't fight the urge
My buddies point and gasp
And I turn to acknowledge what they've seen
Turns out to be 14 survivors of an
Otherworldly space disaster
This is not an accident
Unlike the passing out and waking up somewhere else
They have come in peace
But for how long
We team up with the futuristic visitors
And I finally pass my wind
They take it as a complement
Still focused on their goals
With fire blazing from their eyes
They demanded to see this so called parade
So we took them to the movie theater
Where it plays 24/7
The leader of the group was named Arlak
And he wasn't too happy with what he saw
Marching bands and big animals
In balloon form that really pissed him off
Arlak took off his face and
It turned out to be John
The parade continued as
I passed more wind
Then I stood up straight and
Walked in a crooked line
I couldn't believe John would
Play me like that
Disguising himself as a space man to
Make my drunken habit feel
Like a reality TV moment
My drunken rage kicked into gear
And I stormed off the street
And onto the sidewalk
Where it was more safe
I curled up in a little
Square like ball
Only to awake in my own bed
With a hangover the size of
A Wisconsin cheese farm
Dream or no dream
Reality or no reality
Drunken fit of rage
Or drunken fit of shame
That was the coolest night ever
